WebFor over a year now, I've noticed a strange clicking sound in my throat, which always happens in time with my heartbeat. (Background: I'm a 25-year-old male, low BMI but also pretty sedentary.) This clicking sound is most noticeable in the morning, or after exercise. I hear and feel it better when I inhale than when I exhale. WebI think this is due to stress and a change in heart rate. I have gotten it in an audio recording- it's rather loud. I also experience heart palpitations. I'll be seeing a doctor about this soon. (I also have pectus excavatum which is a sunken sternum/ribs, and this displaces my heart to the left side) Helpful - 0.
